Famous Artist

An artist that I like and have taken interest in is Leonid Afremov. Leonid Afremov was born on July 12th, 1955 in Vitebsk, Belarus. He is a Russian-Isaraeli artist who works mainly with a palette knife and oils. He has his own unique technique and style which cannot be confused with other artists. Afremov is mainly known as being a self-representing artist who promotes and sells his work exclusively over the internet.


This is one of my favourite paintings by Afremov it's called Night of Secrets. I like this painting because of how the colours work together and I like how he did the lights and the reflection on the ground.



This one is called Rainy Encounter. Why I like this one is because of how he blended the colours together, and because of how he drew the ground to make it look like as if it was a puddle.
